A2D2 - Sodium-Ion (Na⁺-Ion)

A2D2 was the first in the Czech Republic to launch sodium batteries for real sale, which offer a number of technological advantages and help reduce dependence on rare raw materials.

The main advantages of Na-Ion or sodium batteries include a long service life of up to 20 years while maintaining 80% capacity. The advantage is significantly higher safety compared to other types of batteries, the ability to charge at temperatures below freezing, significantly faster charging and the possibility of deeper discharge without affecting the battery's service life. It tolerates temperatures down to -40°C very well.

• Fast charging and low temperature capability: Compared to traditional lithium batteries, sodium batteries charge faster and are capable of efficient charging even at sub-freezing temperatures.

• Environmental friendliness and availability of materials: Sodium is a very common element, which makes Na-Ion batteries help reduce dependence on rare and hard-to-find raw materials.
